Metro World Child is a non-profit Christian ministry in NYC that rolls out a mobile Sunday School each week for children throughout the city. The operation reaches thousands of kids who are unable to attend church. It’s known around the city simply as Sidewalk Sunday School.

The Project


THE CHALLENGE

Metro World Child is an organization that provides a number of services in the community, and often struggled to tell its best story to donors, volunteers, and potential partners. It needed help weeding out the distracting elements of its narrative so that people could grasp the emotional core of its mission.


THE APPROACH

At Stonecastle, our storytelling process is driven by a search for characters who will serve as “carriers” of your message. So we begin with casting, which in this case led us to several staff members of MWC who provided us with an emotional gold mine that delivered the clear, compelling story Metro World Child needed.
